With a million sold, Soulstone Survivors will come to consoles in 2025
Digital Bandidos and the dev team at Game Smithing are bringing the million-selling action roguelike Soulstone Survivors to the consoles.
The game will debut on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and leading PC marketplaces on June 17.
In the game, you can go toe to toe with endless hordes of bloodthirsty monsters and the immense Lords of the Void, and become the God you were always meant to be. As of today, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can finally get their first taste of the action via a new demo.
Soulstone Survivors has already sold over one million copies since launching in Early Access on Steam and gained over 90% ‘Very Positive’ ratings from players.
Plunge into a world where power has few limits but victory is never guaranteed:
● Summon the Lords: Each match pits you against five Lords of the Void, colossal creatures that pose an even more deadly threat than the endless waves of minions you must carve through to summon them.
● No Risk, Few Rewards: Turn up the heat and activate different curses and game modes, testing your mettle and upping the ante across dozens of increasingly difficult maps.
● Unlockables Galore: In between battles, use the souls of the enemies you’ve slain (AKA Soulstones) and other resources you’ve collected to acquire hundreds of skills and upgrades – including crafting new starting weapons with unique attacks to give you an advantage in combat.
● 22 Different Characters: Find your playstyle with 22 Void Hunters to unlock and experiment with. From the dual-wielding Barbarian and the beast-taming Sentinel to the ghost ship-summoning Cursed Captain, there’s a warrior to suit every playstyle.
Soulstone Survivors will leave early access on Steam on June 17, 2025, with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions launching on the same day – marking the first time this hit game has come to consoles. With the help of the Digital Bandidos team, Soulstone Survivors will also be available through a host of new PC stores, increasing its global reach.
Plans for additional platforms will be announced at a later date.

A demo for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions is available to download starting today. There is already a demo available on Steam, along with a free Prologue featuring a selection of characters, maps, and weapons. Progress in both the demo and the Prologue version is carried over to the full game.
The upcoming launch of Soulstone Survivors is the latest news from Digital Bandidos, following the recent announcement that the company is bringing Tuatara Games’ gritty 80s-style sci-fi horror survivors-like Let Them Come: Onslaught to PC and consoles later this year.
The Digital Bandidos team has previously worked with members of both Tuatara Games and Game Smithing, showing the trust developers show in the up-and-coming indie publisher.
“Developing Soulstone Survivors alongside our community has been an incredible journey,” said Allan Smith, in a statement. “We’ve learned so much from our players, shaping the game into something far beyond what we imagined at the start. Now, bringing it to consoles feels like a childhood dream come true! We knew from experience that Steve (Escalante) and Digital Bandidos would be great partners to navigate this huge milestone — launching on multiple platforms, in over a dozen languages, all at once. For a small team like ours, that support is invaluable.”
Digital Bandidos, established in 2024 by Steve Escalante and Lance James, leverages decades of combined experience in indie and triple-A game publishing to empower independent game developers and their creations. Focusing on fostering connections between players and unique gaming experiences, the company is committed to nurturing creative visions, cultivating thriving communities, and delivering exceptional games to a global audience.
Game Smithing is a small, independent studio of Brazilian game developers spread across Brazil and the UK. Although the studio was first founded in 2022, some of the team have worked together for over ten years, having first started a studio in Allan’s basement back in 2012. The team has been working on Soulstone Survivors for over two years, having massively grown the scope of the game following the incredible PC Early Access success. Rogue Soulstone, Soulstone Survivors’ sister project, is currently in pre-production.
